Future masterplan vision

The jungle
is the museum.

Cielo Azul Sanctuary is a five-hectare vision in Chemuyil, where nature, wellbeing and community come together. The jungle remains the protagonist.

Belong to
something quieter.

A place imagined for movement and rest, shared moments and personal rituals. Architecture takes its cues from the landscape, with local stone, dark timber and water.

Our conservation philosophy guides the vision: preserve the natural character of the jungle while making room for thoughtful experiences.

Experiences envisioned
  • Spa and spaces for yoga
  • Restaurant and gathering spaces
  • Coworking and reading areas
  • Amphitheatre and cultural moments
  • Temazcal and a sunken fire circle
  • Cenote-inspired water experiences
  • Tennis court

Conceptual programme, subject to design, approvals and development. These amenities are not represented as operating or included in a Chemuyil lot purchase.

Five hectares. One guiding principle.

A place shaped around the jungle.

Sanctuary expands the Chemuyil vision into a nature-led destination. The 85% conservation principle guides a masterplan where architecture, shared experiences and quiet spaces respond to the land.

The jungle remains the protagonist

The intention is to preserve the natural character of the site and fit the built programme around it. The conservation principle will be developed through environmental studies, design and the final approved masterplan.

Water, movement and restoration

The proposed wellness programme explores spa spaces, yoga, temazcal and water experiences. Stone, timber, gardens and shade create the atmosphere for a slower, more grounded rhythm.

Places to gather, room to retreat

A restaurant, reading and coworking spaces, an amphitheatre, a sunken fire circle and tennis are part of the concept. Together they imagine a community with many ways to connect.

Rooted in Chemuyil

Sanctuary shares the setting of Chemuyil: jungle near the Caribbean, within reach of Xcacel, Akumal and Tulum. The surrounding landscape is part of the experience and the reason to care for the place.
